Programme Overview

The aim of this workshop is to enable Executive Personal Assistants to ‘fine tune’ the necessary skills required for working at this senior level. The programme gives an in depth insight into many effective communication techniques required both face-to-face and on the telephone. It shows Executive PAs why they need to be discreet, loyal and efficient in order to support and enhance the role being played by their manager.

  • How to become an asset to your manager and a valuable team player.

  • Understanding the role of an Executive PA.

  • Understanding your manager’s needs and communication style.

  • Communicating in a proactive manner.

  • How to get your manager organised!

  • Taking initiative in planning and coordinating events and meetings.

  • Looking and acting professionally (Individual image consultation).

  • Dealing with office politics and conflict.

  • Ensuring loyalty and discretion in all you do.

  • How to write accurate and persuasive documents.

  • Writing effective reports and agendas.

  • Email etiquette for the PA and the manager.
